OHAA SCHOLARSHIPS  2010     

The Oral History Association of Australia (NSW) offered two scholarships to encourage and support two students of any discipline who are utilising oral history as part of their tertiary studies to assist them in attending the 2010 International Oral History Conference in Prague. The scholarships are valued at A$1,000 each.  We congratulate the winners Denise Phillips, University of New England, and Barbara  Karpinski, UTS.  Denise and Barbara will present reports of their visit at our seminar on November 6.

The Sixteenth International Oral History Conference "Between Past and Future:  Oral History, Memory and Meaning will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from 7th - 11 July 2010.  These biennial international conferences offer local, national and regional practitioners in different parts of the world the opportunity to participate in an international exchange and help to strengthen the development of oral history across the globe.
